Both Kindergarten classes have enjoyed an active summer
with daily dance parties, outdoor play and games.
In addition, Mrs. Douglas is reading Chapter Books throughout the summer
to interested Kindergarten students to encourage reading.
On our first day of camp, we started reading Ramona the Pest, by Beverly Cleary. We average about 20-25 pages per day and on Friday, had only 10 pages to go!
Our next chapter book will be Charlotte's Web by E.B. White.
It's been a wonderful experience for me as a teacher, and I hope for the children
who have shown interest in participating.
