Hospital Wing Helicopter Visits Holy Rosary

It's not every day a helicopter lands in your school's baseball field!

But today, the Hospital Wing helicopter did just that at Holy Rosary's Summer Camp!!

Pilot Hunter Robinson is uncle of rising Kindergartner, Atticus Robinson (pictured above).

The mid-south based air ambulance company supplies emergency air lift services and inter-hospital transfers of patients throughout the region.

The children sat outside and watched the chopper land before meeting the pilots and nurses/medics and getting an up close view of the the shiny new aircraft!

It was AMAZING DAY at camp!!

A great big THANK YOU to the Hospital Wing crew and the Robinson family!!

Dinosaur Egg Hunt

Today our preschoolers discovered the strangest thing hiding in the prayer garden of our campus...

Prehistoric Dinosaur Eggs!

We collected them and took them to our classrooms

gave them a good look

and used special paleontologist type tools to uncover what was hiding inside!

D is for Dinosaur!

This week our preschoolers have been learning about Dinosaurs.

Mrs. Ashley Waldron's 4K made Dinosaurs using the letter D.

Ms. Kristen's 3K had their hands painted green

pressed onto paper...

and transformed into personalized Dinosaurs!!

Streamer Art!

This morning our preschoolers used fine motor skills to weave streamers through the fence.

Our initial goal was a rainbow, but after experimenting, we learned the children had ideas of their own!

After weaving, several of our friends thought long strips of streamer
tucked into their pants would make excellent
dragon tails!

They also made really fun streamers and fairy wands.

I am continually amazed and humbled by the
excitement and imagination
of our little ones.

Chicken Art in 3K

How cute are our chickens?

Our 3K children have amazing imaginations!!

Water Balloons

With temps in the 90's, we've spent a lot of time throwing water balloons this week.

So.

Much.

Fun!!
